Our main activities

• We coordinate activities under the EU SOCRATES -- ERASMUS programme, which means preparing an institutional agreement dealing with partners every year. We are in contact with the National Office, and inform students and university staff about the programme possibilities. We coordinate the financial part of the programme and we help to run the programme in different ways.
• We inform and help others to be involved in other  EU programmes, such as the LEONARDO DA VINCI and the CEEPUS and the Jean Monet programmes for cooperating with central European countries.
• We inform and cooperate through bilateral agreements such as ACTION (a programme of cooperation in sciences and education between the Czech Republic and Austria), BARANDE (a bilateral Czech -- France cooperation in the field of research and development),  DAAD (Deutcher Akademischer Austauchdienst) and other.
• We spread information about the possibilities of internships on the basis of cultural agreements which are offered by the Czech Ministry of Education and other activities arranged by the Ministry.
• We organize activities through bilateral agreements, which the university signs with their university partners abroad, including exchange of students and teachers. We also prepare a new agreement to be signed. 
• We also organize official visits abroad for the Rector and Vice-Rector and welcome guests from abroad to the Rector's office. We cooperate in matters of publicity and represent our university abroad.
• We inform our faculty and university staff about opportunities from the Academic Information Agency and Academic Information Centre (today ICN) and other possibilities of scholarships and offers of stays abroad from different organizations.
• We register our university staff on their official visits abroad.
