ERASMUS programme is an integral part of the Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP) and is targeted at higher education institutions and their students, teachers and other staff, and also at enterprises and other representatives of working life. The basic condition for the institution to participate in the Erasmus programme is to be a holder of the Erasmus University Charter (EUC) awarded by the European Commission.

Mobility of teaching staff in higher education institutions in order to teach at a partner higher education institution abroad |

1a) mobility of teaching and other staff in higher education institutions to enterprise abroad in order to attend seminars, workshops, courses, conferences, and trainingsessions
1b) mobility of staff in foreign enterprise to a higher education institution in the CR (the grant is awarded by the partner higher education institution)
2) mobility of administrative and other staff, other than teaching staff, in a higher education institution to a partner institution abroad in order to exchange experience through study, job shadowing and other training
3) mobility of teaching staff in the higher education institution to the partner institution abroad in order to attend some training |
Terms for teacher mobility
- Teacher must be employed at, i.e. must have a work contract with a higher education institution, holder of the EUC.
- Priority is given to those teachers participating in this programme for the first time.
Terms for teaching assignments
- The Teaching assignment must be accomplished based on a bilateral agreement concluded among institutions, holders of the Erasmus University Charter.
- Institutions must agree on the teaching programme of the visiting teacher prior to his/her departure.
- The Teacher must teach at least 5 classes.
- Maximum duration of mobility is 6 weeks.
Terms for staff mobility
- Teaching staff must be employed at, i.e. must have work contract with, higher education institution, holder of the EUC.
- Staff of enterprise arriving from abroad to stay at a higher education institution can accomplish his/her mobility at an institution holding the EUC.
Terms for staff training
- Staff training must be accomplished only at a higher education institution, holding the EUC, abroad, or in enterprise abroad.
- Staff training at a higher education institution must be accomplished based on a bilateral agreement concluded among institutions holding the EUC.
- The Duration of mobility is from 1 week to max. 6 weeks.
- Higher education institution staff attending training abroad must compile their work programme stating, among others, the purpose of their mobility, training programme and expected results. The work programme must be approved both by the sending higher education institution and the receiving institution or enterprise.
- Enterprise staff arriving at higher education institution must produce an invitation letter.
Grants for teaching assignments or trainings
- The Teacher receives a grant based on the Travel Expenses Commensation Act .
- Stay expenses will be settled by a lump sum per week abroad (based on the Travel Expenses Compensation Act, this sum represents the maximum that can be obtained per week). Travel expenses are settled separately based on documents produced.
