Křižánky -- in the past and present

Listed village Křižánky is located in the heart of the protected landscape area Žďárské Vrchy at Českomoravská vysočina, 610 m above sea level. It was founded in 1392 by Jan z Perštejna. The original settlement was situated on the Bohemian side of the present Czech Republic, and only later spread to Moravia. Nowadays, the village has 370 inhabitants and is constituted of three parts: Moravské Křižánky, České Křižánky and České Milovy. There are elementary school and kindergarten, Roman Catholic church, shop in the village and a pond close by. The village is a starting point of many walking paths.

Facilities

The building houses 5 separate units:
4 four-bed rooms, each equipped with kitchen and bathroom,
1 six-bed room with kitchen and bathroom.
Kitchens are equipped with electric cookers, refrigerators and dishes.
Rooms have radios. Beds have duvets, bedlinen and blankets.
For heating there are storage heaters.
The centre has its own source of drinking water.
Parking available.
Fireplace and sand pit in front of building.
